Silence in the library

I am currently reading this biography from a Native American centuries ago. How he had to deal with the British and American pilgrims. Free to download. How abouts a biography written by a woman having to live in a life of servitude. There are some pretty unlikable characters ie the white Americans.

A unique story about a teenage girl suffering from KLS. I can't be dealing with relationship difficulties with her ex boyfriend. Fans of Twilight might like it. You can imagine stories like The Lovely Bones, The Matrix. There is a mysterious and sinister element to it. I did leave a bunch of reviews on Amazon and they seem to have been deleted.

A horror story about vampires. A virus has wiped out most of humanity. Imagine Stakeland, Twilight, I Am Legend, 28 Days Later. Alex Tate has her brother and mum to rely on. Not a bad story. See the reviews.

I Have The Sight is a supernatural horror about an exorcist.

Reading Ike Hamill's books I did find some spelling and grammar errors. I think that the kindle version wasn't proof read. Entertaining story. Post apocalyptic horror.

Lies Of The Prophet a horror. You have Gregory a man that has come back from the dead. A couple similar to Mulder and Scilly are investigating mysterious events. A good read. See the preview and then purchase.

I am reading Distinct by Ike Hamill. It is the fourth book in the series. A few old characters return. Strange things continue to go on in a post apocalyptic world. History isn't right as you will find out later in the book. You can liken the series to Stranger Things, The Outer Limits, Lost, Twilight Zone, Walking Dead. Robby is a clever young man possibly in his late teens. You have Brad that lived alone. He was also in the first book. I did spot the odd error that you will find in Ike Hamill books. A mysterious villain is introduced. You do wonder where the story was headed. SciFi horror. You have probably enjoyed books by Stephen Baxter, Stephen King, Edward W Robertson, Stephen Leather.
I had played some music on youtube. Quite fitting as background music.

I am reading this humour genre book which is quite bizarre. I would have deleted it from my Kindle to be honest. The Slaughtered Virgin Of Zenopolis by David Blake. I wonder about the lead female character as she is somewhat annoying and stupid. Inspector Capstan is just frustrated with the type of people that he has to deal with. More ebooks to be found here.

Hyberbole And A Half by Allie Brosh. I bought this book from Waterstones on bank holiday Monday. It cost 9.99. It's about the blogger Alexandra Bosh. A humurous book. More for adults. Very colourful. It has illustrations done by Allie herself. In a comic book style. The first chapter she reflects on her childhood. It seems she was quite weird. She'd found a letter that she wrote aged 10 to her future self. So she replies back. I'm selling this book on ebay. It'll still be in mint condition. Her blog is online. She's a twentysomething American. She's pretty. I do wonder about these bloggers and youtubers making their money out of a hobby. She is a dog lover. In the 2nd chapter she goes about training her 'retarded' dog. 3rd chapter is Motivation. She has rented a dvd from Blockbuster and never returned it. I'm thinking wtf. It's a no holds barred book. A personal blog.

Doctor Who: The Wheel OF Ice by Stephen Baxter

Patrick Troughton is The Doctor. His assistants are Zoe, a woman from the late part of the 20th century. Also a Scottish man from the 18th century called James. The Tardis has landed on a moon in Saturn's orbit. Met a 16 year old named Phee and her spider bot MMAC. There are others in this small colony. Phee' mum that is the Mayor. The Doctor and his assistants have been accused. I've just sold my Timelike Infinity book. You should Coalescent, Phase Space, The Time Ships. There is Doctor Who: The Doctor Trap book staring David Tennant and Catherine Tate. It is good. The tv series is back 30/3/13. Interesting story.

There is a chapter about MMAC the Glaswegian spider robot. I like the chapter about Phee's amulet that had been passed down the generations. Artificial Sentience, machines with a soul like Johnny 5, the Matrix, C3P0, Kryten. This Florian character seems a hard-ass/bitch. The amulet was possibly sent back through time like the toys in the film The Last Mimzy. I imagine the blue creatures are like Smurfs. There's a good part about the moon Titan, also other discoveries that have been made on the mining moon. I'd recently bought a Doctor Who Promo dvd, which I'll put onto ebay. The dvd and book are in really good condition. I liked the chapter about the blue dolls. This is a hardback book.

The Long Earth By Terry Pratchett And Stephen Baxter

I'd got this from the library. Interesting collaboration between two great authors. I recommend the film Another Earth. Starts off with a pregnant teen Maria. She's about to give birth. She 'steps' (teleports) into a new world. Full of forests and blue skies with no population at all. Afterwards she and her newborn Joshua return to Datum Earth. The main protagonist is Joshua. He's able to step from one world to the next. As many others have been doing using a device. There are parallel Earths to the west and east of Datum (normal) Earth. Some chapters focus on other characters. There are troll and elvish creatures that can also step. The Black Corporation is a company that wishes to discover more about these worlds. Lobsang is a Tibetian reincarnated into a machine. He travels with Joshua in a ship. Different timezones like 1915 following soldier Percy Blakeway, 2015 cop Monica Jansson. The Green family have settled on the long earth. It's an amusing book. Selling on Amazon. Very good condition. 9780857520098
